Mark Reischling is a men's basketball veteran with over 50 seasons of combined basketball playing, coaching, officiating, administrative and game-grading experience at the HS, JUCO, DI, DII, NCAA Men's Tournament (including the 2001 Final Four) as well as an NBA game officials’ observer at Golden State for nine seasons. Reischling is also a retired 35 year CA secondary teacher and coach, married for 51 years to his college sweetheart (also a retired CA educator). They have two adult sons, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, and reside in Petaluma, CA.

Reischling completed his 42 season 'on the court' officiating career in 2011, having worked in 7 different D1 conferences. He was selected to officiate 23 NCAA post-season tournaments and was a Leadership Team member of the PAC-12 Conference Men's Officiating Program for three years . He has been a basketball officiating camp director all over northern California (Moving Up Seminars) as well as an international clinician in Alberta, Canada, and Yokosuka, Japan. He is connected with the latest NCAA training through his long term ties to nationally recognized D1 officials and coordinators. In 2017, Reischling was hired by the Big-8 and Bay Valley community college conferences to lead their men's officiating staff. In 2018, the Coast Conference was added to COS, which is now is comprised of 33 California community colleges.
